His Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos accompanied by the political and military leaders of the Ministry of National Defence inspected the Fleet on board the frigate “SALAMIS”, in the Saronic Gulf.

The arrival of the President of the Republic and the inspection were attended by the Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, the Alternate Minister of National Defence Fotis Kouvelis, the Chief of HNDGS Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, the Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, the Chief of HNGS Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis, the Chief of HAFGS Lieutenant General Christos Christodoulou, the Commander in Chief of the Hellenic Fleet Vice Admiral Ioannis Pavlopoulos, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs Kostas Douzinas and members of the Supreme Naval Council.
