An inter-ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of National Defence, chaired by the Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, with the participation of the Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas, the Alternate Minister of Administrative Reform Christoforos Vernardakis, the leadership of the Armed Forces, delegates from the Ministries of Finance, of Environment and Energy, of Labour, Social Insurance and Social Solidarity, from the BoD of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI) and from the trade union, aiming to resolve issues concerning the HAI.

A solution was given to lingering problems concerning the Industry’s staffing, by reinforcement with personnel by pending recruitment competitions, so as to proceed with the implementation of contracts with the Armed Forces and with foreign states, since there are projects worth almost one billion euros for the next years.

Moreover, a solution was given to financial issues of the personnel and proposals concerning the settlement of issues lingering for several years were discussed.
