On Friday 16 July 2021, the Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos had a joint meeting with the Commissioner for Internal Market Mr. Thierry Breton at the facilities of the Eastern Mediterranean Command Headquarters.
The Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence Mr. Antonios Economou and the HNGS Deputy Chief Rear-Admiral Georgios Kambourakis, representing the HNGS Staff Chief also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the National Satellite Telecommunications System was also presented, and a crypto video-call was held with Hellenic Navy Units currently at operational trips.
