The Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas and the Chiefs of General Staffs, the Chief of HNDGS Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, the Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, the Chief of HNGS Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis and the Chief of HAFGS Lieutenant General Christos Christodoulou hosted a luncheon for Manolis Glezos at the Ministry of National Defence on Monday, 10 July 2017, as a symbolic act of honour and respect to him and to the struggle of his generation for National Independence and Democracy. During the luncheon, Manolis Glezos, among other things, expressed his views on the military training of conscripts. His views have been formed from his long experience in the protection of our country’s national independence.
