A major meeting was held today in the Ministry of National Defence focusing on actions, which may be taken, to coordinate the capabilities among various services while addressing potential situations which may influence Greece if crisis in Syria worsens.
The attendants discussed about the possibility to activate a plan for the safe evacuation of Greek nationals from Syria (plan “COSMOS”), as well as another plan to manage the potential wave of Syrian refugees to Greece. (plan “IONI”).
