The Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas met on Wednesday 3 January 2018 in his office with the Mayor of Chaidari Michalis Selekos and Deputy Mayor Kostas Stathas. During the meeting they discussed about the utilisation of BLOCK-15 at Chaidari Camp, in the context of preserving historical memory, for the developments pertaining to the Hellenic Shipyards in Skaramagas and the concession of the space next to the shipyards to the Municipality of Chaidari. Currently the refugees hospitality centre is located there.
