The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos received today at a working meeting a delegation from the ‘Coalition of the Radical Left – United Social Front’ party, comprised of the MP in Piraeus A’ Electoral District Mr. Theodoros Dritsas, the MP in Piraeus B’ Electoral District Mr. Panagiotis Lafazanis, the MP for Aetoloakarnania Mr. Georgios Varemenos, the MP for Achaia Mr. Vassilios Chatzilabrou and the MP for Samos island Ms. Agni Kalogeri.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the situation at the shipyards of Skaramangas and Elefsis, in relation to the orders made by the Hellenic Navy to these shipyards for war ships.
The meeting was also attended by the Special Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence Mr. Antonis Oikonomou, the National Coordinator of the Shipyards Mr. Nikos Anastasopoulos and the Junior Member of the State Legal Council, Mr. Dionyssios Kolovos.
