The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos in the context of his official visit to Indonesia, met with the Vice-President of Indonesia Muhammad Jusuf Kalla, the President of the Parliament Ade Komarudin, the Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee Nurhayati Ali Assegaf and members of the Defence and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Indonesian Parliament.
During the meetings they underlined the cooperation capabilities between the two countries and expressed their will to enhance the bilateral relations in the field of defence, in which there is already a cooperation between the Greek and the Indonesian defence companies.
The meetings were also attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts of the Hellenic Parliament, Makis Ballis, who extended an invitation to the President of the Parliament of Indonesia on behalf of the President of the Greek Parliament, to visit Greek on a date to determined via the diplomatic channel, which was accepted.
