The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos met today with the Mayor of the Municipality of Kymi-Aliveri Mr. Dimitris Thomas and the Deputy Mayor Areti Batsa, as well as delegates of the Electromechanica Kymi Trade Union. The subject of this meeting was the report of the problems faced by the workers, but also by the “Electromechanica Kymi LTD” to the Minister of National Defence.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister at the Office of the Prime Minister, MP for Evia Mr. Simos Kedikoglou, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Dimitris Elefsiniotis, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Konstantinos Gkinis and the Ministry’s Special Secretary Mr. Antonis Oikonomou. The delegation of the Trade Union was comprised of the Union’s President Ms. Maria Chouliara, Vice President Mr. Gheorghios Theodorou, Secretary Ms. Venetia-Theodora Gkatzioni and the operator of Electromechanica Mr. Michail Kritharis.
