The Minister of National Defence Mr Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos met today, Tuesday 04 February 2020, with the new Ambassador of Egypt stationed in Greece, Mr Ismail Ahmed Khairat.
They discussed the further enhancement of the bilateral cooperation in the field of defence and the defence–technical field, the trilateral cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Egypt, as well as the security challenges in the Eastern Mediterranean and the wider region.
