The Deputy Minister of National Defence Thanasis Davakis met today, Wednesday, October 14, 2026, with the Defence Secretary of India, Rajesh Kumar Singh, at the Ministry of National Defence.
During their meeting, the exceptional level of bilateral relations was reaffirmed and particular ways for their further deepening were examined, focusing on the fields of defence, security and defence industry, aiming to enhance regional stability.
After the end of the meeting, Mr Davakis stated:
“Today’s meeting with the Defence Secretary of India Mr Singh, affirms, most categorically, the strong and everlasting bonds of friendship that bind Greece to India.
The close and multilevel cooperation with strategic partners with whom we share the same values, constitutes a stable pillar of our national strategy.
Through the deepening of our defence relations and the development of joint initiatives in the field of defence industry and technology, we continue to build substantial relations with auspicious perspectives”.
