The Minister of National Defence Mr Alkiviadis Stefanis met today, Thursday 15 June 2023, with the Turkish Minister of Defence Mr Yaşar Güler, in the context of the NAC meeting at the level of Defence Ministers in Brussels.
During the meeting, realised in continuation of the two Ministers’ telephone communication (on 7/6/2023), the Minister of National Defence congratulated his counterpart on the assumption of his duties.
Furthermore, the significance of communication and meetings among the two sides as well as the preservation of the current climate of tension avoidance was stressed.
