The Minister of National Defence Mr Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos met today, Monday 23 January 2023, with Her Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic Ms Katerina Sakellaropoulou at the Presidential Mansion, so as to brief Her on issues of his jurisdiction.
The Minister presented the latest developments pertaining to Ukraine and the Eastern Mediterranean. During the briefing, the role played by the Greece as a pillar of peace, security and stability at the Southeastern Europe and Eastern Mediterranean, collaborating with countries which share the same values and have a joint vision for a peaceful and prosperous region, was underlined.
