On Friday, 7 June 2024, in the presence of the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between HNDGS, the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation, and the Hellenic Aerospace Industry. The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on behalf of HNDGS, by F Branch Director, Lieutenant General Georgios Panoussis, on behalf of the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation, by its Chief Executive Officer, Pandelis Tzortzakis, and on behalf of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry, by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Vice Admiral (ret.) Alexandros Diakopoulos.
The Memorandum concerns the possibility of cooperation in implementing a project suggestion in Research and Development, Electronics Media Support Systems, in Information Gathering and Countermeasures.
Also, present at the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation, held at the Ministry of National Defence, were the Deputy Chief of HNDGS, Vice Admiral Christos Sasiakos HN, the Chairman of the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation, Vice Admiral (ret.) Panagiotis Lymberis and the members of his Steering Board, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participation Grigoris D. Dimitriadis.
The present Memorandum came into force upon signing by the representatives of the three sides.
