The Minister of National Defence Mr. F. Fragkos expresses his gratification for the self-denial of the flying personnel and the technicians of the fire fighting aircraft of the 355^th Tactical Transport Squadron of the 112 Combat Wing and the 383^rd Special Operations & Air Fire Fighting Squadron of the 113 Combat Wing, as well as of the CH-47D CHINOOK helicopter of the 4^th Army Aviation Helicopters Battalion that successfully participated under very unfavorable conditions in the extinction of the fires in Attica-Korinth-Kithnos.

The Armed Forces affirm once more their intention for social contribution and their devotion to their mission and task, as commanded by the Constitution.
