The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos declared the opening of the works of the first meeting of Greek and Indonesian defence companies, held in Jakarta.

In his address he stressed the importance of the defence cooperation between the two countries and the role Greece may play because of its know-how.

In the context of the works of the meeting a defence cooperation agreement was signed between the Greek and the Indonesian defence companies.

The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts of the Hellenic Parliament, Makis Ballis.
