The Minister of National Defence Mr Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos will conduct an official visit to Egypt, starting tomorrow Thursday 3 December 2020.
The Minister will travel to Cairo where he will meet with the Egyptian President Mr Abdel Fattah el-Sisi at the Presidential Palace and then with his Egyptian counterpart General Mohamed Zaki.
Mr Panagiotopoulos will participate through teleconference in the “European Defence Agency Conference 2020” on Friday 4 December and afterwards he will go to the Holy Patriarchal Monastery of Saint Savvas, where he will meet with His Divine Beatitude the Pope and Patriarch of the Great City of Alexandria and All of Africa Theodore II.
The Minister of National Defence will observe the final stage of the joint inter-service exercise “MEDUSA 10”, with the participation of forces from Greece, Egypt, Cyprus, France and the United Arab Emirates, on Saturday 5 December.
