On Holy Monday, 3 June 2019, the Minister of National Defence Evangelos Apostolakis met at his office, within the framework of a courtesy meeting, with his Eminence, the Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia, the most-honoured and Exarch of Central Africa.
Mr. Ioannis expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of National Defence for its contribution of medical supplies for the refugee camp of Mantapala in Northern Zambia, which hosts 14,500 refugees, including 6,000 children.
