On Friday, 30 October 2020, the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Greece, Ms. Kate Smith, within the framework of a courtesy meeting to the Ministry of National Defence, during which they discussed matters for further enhancing bilateral relations in the defence and defence-technical sectors.

Furthermore, they discussed the latest regional developments, as well as the security and stability challenges in the East Mediterranean due to the provocative and aggressive illegal behaviour of Turkey.
