The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Maria Kollia-Tsaroucha, the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN, the Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis HN, and the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (HAF) Christos Christodoulou attended the official celebration for the Patron Saint of the Hellenic Air Force, Archangel Michael, which took place at Dekelia Air Base in Tatoi.
The events were also attended by the US Ambassador Geoffrey R. Pyatt.
