The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, accompanied by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN, and the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, attended the proclamation ceremony declaring His Excellency, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, an honorary citizen of the Municipality of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni and the award ceremony of the Municipality’s Gold Medal.
Earlier that day, in the presence of His Excellency, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, the renaming ceremony for Varis – Koropiou Avenue to Evelpidon Avenue was held.
