On Tuesday 8 April 2025, the Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias will pay a formal visit to Lebanon, after accepting an invitation by his counterpart Michel Menassa, with whom he will hold bilateral discussions.

In the framework of his visit, the Minister of National Defence will be hosted by the President of the Republic of Lebanon, General Joseph Aoun, and will afterwards meet the Vice President of Lebanon’s Government, Dr. Tarek MItri.

Mr. Dendias will also be hosted by His Beatitude the Patriarch of Antioch and all East Mr. Ioannis, at the Patriarchate in Balamand, Lebanon.
