Tomorrow, 5 October 2026, the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, will travel to Venice to participate in the Meeting of the Ministers of Defence of the Adriatic – Ionian (ADRION) Initiative.
The ADRION Initiative’s objective is to strengthen regional defence cooperation and maritime security in the Adriatic – Ionian region. The initiative brings together the Ministers of Defence of the six coastal countries of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas (Greece, Albania, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, and Slovenia).
