Tomorrow, Wednesday 21 July 2021, the Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos is travelling to the ISTRES Air Force Base in Southern France to attend the delivery ceremony for the first out of 18 state-of-the-art Rafale Fighter aircraft, to be incorporated in the Hellenic Air Forces roster.
The ceremony will be also attended by HNDGS Chief General Konstantinos Floros and the HAFGS Chief Lieutenant General (AF) Georgios Blioumis.
Before the ceremony the Minister of National Defence will have a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of “Dassault Aviation” Mr. Erik Trappier.
Following this, Mr. Panagiotopoulos will travel to Paris where he will have a private meeting with Minister of Defence of the French Republic Ms. Florence Parly.
