On Monday, 19 December 2022, the Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos briefed the members of the Hellenic Parliament Special Standing Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts during a meeting held in “Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Athanasios Tsaldaris” Hall on the progress of five armament programs falling within the remit of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, and of three armament programs falling within the remit of the General Directorate of Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) for the benefit of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff.
The meeting was also attended by the Chief of HNDGS, General Konstantinos Floros, the Chief of HNGS, Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis, the Chief/HAFGS Lieutenant General Themistoklis Bourolias and the General Director of GDDIA, Aristeidis Alexopoulos.
