April 13, 2021

NIKOLAOS PANAGIOTOPOULOS: For sure today Greece is poorer, since a great patriot has passed on. As political leadership, representing, as one, the Military Leadership, having been commanded so, we will rise to the occasion and continue our great effort for even stronger Armed Forces.

JOURNALIST: He was an example of patriotism, he donated all his property to the Hellenic Armed Forces, which he used to call “Holy”…

NIKOLAOS PANAGIOTOPOULOS: The patriotism of this man was proved not only by his contribution but also by the fact that he was the youngest fighter at the Albanian Front. So, this man has been fighting for Greece since he was 16 years old.

With his last great donation, the Armed Forces shall be further enhanced and will continue to fully execute their duties, defending our sovereign rights and National Laws. Men like Iakovos Tsounis should never be forgotten. And shall never be forgotten!!
