The Minister of the Armed Forces of the French Republic, Sébastien Lecornu, will visit Athens on Holy Monday 14 April 2025, where he will meet with the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias.
After the private meeting of the two Ministers at the Ministry of National Defence (9:45 a.m.), extended discussions will take place between the Greek and the French delegation.
Joint statements will follow.
In the context of the above meetings, issues will be discussed regarding the reinforcement of the bilateral defence cooperation of Greece and France, the developments regarding the European defence and industry, as well as regional and international security issues.
The two Ministers will visit next together the French frigate “ALSACE” at the Port of Piraeus.
