The Minister the National Defence Panos Kammenos is participating in the NATO Ministers of Defence Conference held in Brussels.
The Minister of had a discussion with the United States Defence Secretary James Mattis, who congratulated Greece because amidst the financial crisis it fully meets its Alliance economic and military requirements.
On the sidelines of the Conference, the Minister also met with the French Minister of Defence Jean – Yves Le Drian, the German Minister Ursula von der Leyen, the UK Minister Michael Fallon and the Dutch Minister Jeanine Hennis – Plasschaert.
The Minister of National Defence also met with the Minister of Defence of Montenegro Predrag Boskovic, with whom they discussed the enhancement of the bilateral military relations and the cooperation between the defence industries of the two countries.
