The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos in the context of the 53rd Security Conference in Munich attended the opening ceremony along with other states’ and governments’ leaders, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence and many distinguished participants from Europe, the United States of America, the Middle East and Asia.
The Minister was invited to participate in a round table discussion organized by the formed US Secretary of Defence William Cohen , with other Ministers of Defence of NATO member states, during which they underlined the need to transform the Alliance in the face of new forms of threats faced by the NATO member states.
