The Minister of National Defence, Panos Kammenos, accompanied by the HAGS Chief, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, attended the honour ceremony and funeral service of Reserve Warrant Officer Konstantinos Brodimas, who fell heroically while fighting the Turkish invaders in Cyprus on 16 August 1974, aged 22.
The remains of the hero Konstantinos Brodimas were repatriated a few days ago.
The honour ceremony and funeral service took place in his hometown, Didyma, Ermionida.
