The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, the Alternate Minister of Defence Dimitris Vitsas, the MoD Special Secretary Kalliope Papaleonidas and the HAF Chief Lt General Christos Vaitsis attended the official celebrations in honour of the Hellenic Air Force Patron Saint Archangel Michael, held at Hellenic Air Force Academy, Dekeleia Air Force Base, Tatoi.
Earlier, the Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos and the Deputy Minister of Mercantile Marine Nektarios Santorinios, had travelled to Symi where they attended the celebrations in honour of the Holy Archangels, as well as the Holy Liturgy at Panormitis Holy Monastery.
