The Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, attended the signing ceremony regarding the renovation and upgrade of the Athens Naval Hospital, held between the Chairman of “Aikaterini Laskaridis” Foundation and honorary Rear Admiral, Mr. Panagiotis Laskaridis, and the HNGS/Chief, Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis.
The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias, the HNDGS/Chief, General Konstantinos Floros, and members of “Aikaterini Laskaridis” Foundation.
The Athens Naval Hospital renovation – modernization works include:
- 3B Ward Rooms
- Establishment of the Cardiology Department areas, and
- Establishment of the Inpatient Care Ward.
The upgrade of the Athens Naval Hospital constitutes yet another donation made by Mr. Laskaridis to the Hellenic Navy.
