On Friday, December 30, 2016, the Joint Military Band sang New Year Carol to the Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas, in the presence of the Chiefs of the General Staffs. Afterwards, Carol was sung in the office of the Alternate Minister by the Joint Choir of the Armed Forces, the Choir of Armour and the Choir of Special Forces, the Bands of Hellenic Navy and Hellenic Air Force, as well as the Cultural-Musical Group of Kastellorizo. The Alternate Minister received New Year’s wishes by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff and the Chiefs of Hellenic Army General Staff, Hellenic Navy General Staff and Hellenic Air Force General Staff, as well as by the General Directors of Directorates of the Ministry of National Defence and by the Branch Directors of the HNDGS and the General Staffs.
