The Minister of National Defence, Panos Kamenos, who is paying an official visit to Indonesia, upon invitation of his Indonesian counterpart, had a meeting with the Minister of Defence of Indonesia, Ryamizard Ryacudu.
They discussed issues that relate to the strengthening of the cooperation of the two countries, as far as defence is concerned, and decided to sign a Memorandum of defence-technical cooperation.
They expressed their satisfaction for the existing cooperation between Greek and Indonesian companies in the defence field and the prospects of its further development.
The Chairman of the Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts of the Hellenic Parliament, Makis Ballis, also attended the meeting.
The Minister of National Defence attended the inauguration of the “Indo Defence 2016” Exhibition and visited the stands of the Greek companies that participate in the fair.
