On Friday, 19 July, and Saturday, 20 July 2019, the Minister of National Defence Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos will make an official visit to Cyprus, upon invitation of his counterpart, Mr. Savvas Angelides.
During the visit, the Minister of National Defence, who will be accompanied by the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General (HAF) Christos Christodoulou, will have bilateral contacts and a private meeting with his Cypriot counterpart, attend the events for the 45th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, and visit the Headquarters of the Hellenic Contingent in Cyprus, as well as the Tomb of Makedonitissa and the House of the Missing in Pyrga.
