On Tuesday, 6 May 2025, at 13:00, the Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias will inaugurate the International Defence, Security and Technology Exhibition DEFEA 2025 (Defence Exhibition Athens) at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition centre at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”.
Mr. Dendias will also deliver an address during the Inauguration Ceremony of the Exhibition.
Previously, on the margins of DEFEA 2025, the Minister will have bilateral meetings with the Minister of Defence of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, and the Minister of Defence of Cape Verde, Janine Lélis, with whom he will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation regarding the provision of assistance to the military training of Cape Verde students.
In the context of DEFEA 2025, Mr. Dendias will participate in a conversation with journalist Vasilis Nedos (14.00) on the subject “The new Hellenic deterrence policy and the 2030 Agenda”.
Finally, during the Exhibition, the Minister of National Defence will tour the exhibitors’ pavilions.
