The Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis along with Mrs. Elena Rapti, Member of Parliament of A’ Region of Thessaloniki, co-organised an online event aiming to raise awareness and brief the Armed Forces personnel on the topical issue of the prevention of child abuse.
Following the Deputy Minister’s introduction, Mrs. Rapti was given the floor as the National Coordinator on the prevention of Child Abuse. The talks were concluded with a presentation by Mrs. Sofia Kousidou, Head of the Sub-Department for Minors’ Protection of the Thessaloniki Police Department .
The event was attended online by the Directors of the Armed Forces Nurseries, who also participated in the online discussion that followed.
