Officers, NCOs, civilian personnel, and enlisted soldiers,
it is with great honour and pride that I undertake the responsibility of the political leadership of the Armed Forces, upon the order of the Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during a difficult and critical period for our country.
I am calling all of you to support the effort to upgrade the Armed Forces and enhance the feeling of security of Greek citizens, to which I assure you I will contribute with all my powers, with commitment, eagerness, and boldness. Because, honourable Officers of the Armed Forces, at the end of the day, we are all soldiers of Greece. And, as of today, I am also a soldier of Greece with you.
