In the presence of HE the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, the oath taking ceremony of newly commissioned Second Lieutenants of the Hellenic Air Force, was held in the Hellenic Air Force Academy.
The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, the Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas, the Chief of HNDGS Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, the Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, the Chief of HNGS Lieutenant Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis and the Chief of HAFGS Lieutenant General Christos Christodoulou.
The Deputy Minister of Education Constantinos Zouraris, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Terens Quick, MPs and representatives of the parties also attended the ceremony.
The newly commissioned Second Lieutenants were awarded their swords by HE the President of the Hellenic Republic.
