The oath-taking ceremony of the new Air Force Second Lieutenants took place in the Hellenic Air Force Academy, in the presence of His Excellency, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of National Defence, Panos Kammenos, the Alternate Minister of National Defence, Fotis Kouvelis, the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN, the Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis HN, and the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (HAF) Christos Christodoulou.
The ceremony was also attended by the Defence Minister of Cyprus, Savas Angelidis.
The officer’s swords were presented to the new Second Lieutenants by His Excellency, the President of the Hellenic Republic.
