In the presence of HE President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, the oath taking ceremony of newly commissioned Second Lieutenants of the 2016 “Lt Gen Andreas Kallinskis” class was held at the premises of the Hellenic Army Academy, Vari, Attica.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, Cyprus’ Minister of Defence Christoforos Fokaides, the Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas, the Chief of HNDGS Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, the Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Vassileios Tellidis, the Chief of HAFGS Lieutenant General Christos Vaitsis and the Chief of HNGS Vice Admiral Georgios Giakoumakis.
The new Second Lieutenants were awarded their swords by HE the President of the Hellenic Republic.
