The Alternate Minister of National Defence Panagiotis Rigas and the Alternate Minister of Health Pavlos Polakis signed a joint ministerial decision, regarding the assignment of eleven (11) enlisted doctors to Regional Clinics and Health Centres, in remote regions of the country.
These enlisted doctors have the opportunity to have their military service period also credited as rural service period, at the expense of the Ministry of Health.
The enlisted doctors are specifically assigned to: Anthiros-Karditsa Regional Clinic, Alonissos Regional Clinic, Maganitis-Ikaria Regional Clinic, Megisti Regional Clinic, Parparia-Chios Regional Clinic, Filia-Achaia Regional Clinic, Raches-Ikaria Regional Clinic, Vrissa-Lesvos Regional Clinic, Evdilos-Ikaria Health Centre, Lihada-Evia Regional Clinic, Katomeri-Meganisi Regional Clinic (under the responsibility of Vasiliki Health Centre).
