The Special Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence Mrs Kalliope Papaleonidas paid a visit to Chania from 14 to 18 November 2016, specifically to the 5th Infantry Brigade, the Naval Hospital, the 115 Combat Wing, the NATO Missile Firing Installation and the Crete Naval Base. The Special Secretary was briefed on the mission and the work of the aforementioned Units. Additionally she met with the MoD Civilians’ Union of Crete and was briefed on civilian personnel matters.
