The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias made in Copenhagen, where he takes part in the Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers, the following statement, regarding what was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye Hakan Fidan at an interview:
“I deeply regret Fidan’s statements, I was informed on. Other than being unacceptable and inappropriate overall, they also violate a principle that is known even to first-year diplomats: the principle of non-interference in other countries’ domestic politics. Therefore, I deeply regret that this is the path he chose”.
