On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Hellenic Parliament passed the statutory regulation which secures the repayment of debts of the National Organisation of Healthcare Services Provision to the Military Hospitals for the period starting from January 2012 to August 2022, thus resolving another persistent issue.
Regarding the above issue, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Thanasis Davakis stated the following:
“With the passing through the Parliament of the statutory regulation which we integrated in the recent bill of the Ministry of Health, the National Organisation of Healthcare Services Provision repays its debts to the Military Hospitals for the period 2012–2022, amounting to €48,600,000 which will be deposited by December 31, 2026.
I would like to thank my associates for their systematic and productive work, but also the President and the members of the National Organisation of Healthcare Services Provision for our exceptional collaboration”.
