Regarding an underwater photograph which was uploaded on the twitter account of the ΝΑΤΟ Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM), which depicts two divers with a Turkish flag and was allegedly taken during the “ARIADNI-19” NATO exercise, we report that it was taken down from the aforementioned account after an intervention by HNGS, due to an order issued by the Minister of National Defence Evangelos Apostolakis.
At the same time the Hellenic authorities submitted pertinent remarks to the Alliance.
