The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikoloas PAanagiotopoulos had a
telephone conversation with the new Cypriot Defence Minister Mr.
Charalambos Petrides.
Mr. Panagiotopoulos congratulated his Cypriot counterpart on the
assumption of his duties, assured him of his full support in his
mission, and invited him to visit Athens.
Later, Mr. Petrides wrote on social media: “National unity, close
cooperation, and mutual support in dealing with any threat are a fact”.
