The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr Ioannis Kefalogiannis, representing the President of the Hellenic Government, attended the oath-taking ceremony of the New Officers of the Military Academy of Combat Support Officers; the ceremony was honoured by the presence of H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic Ms Aikaterini Sakellaropoulou, who awarded the swords to the Second Lieutenants who took the oath.

The ceremony took place at the facilities of the Academy, from which a total of 69 Officers of the Medical, Pharmaceutical, Psychological, Financial and Legal Corps graduated. The ceremony was also attended by the Chief/HNDGS General Konstantinos Floros, the Chief/HAFGS Lieutenant General Themistoklis Bourolias, the Chief/HAGS Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis, the Chief/HNGS Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymousis HN, the Commander of C Army Corps/NRDC-GR Lieutenant General Paris Kapravelos, the Commander of the Academy Major General Theodoros Athanasopoulos, representatives of the Hellenic Parliament, the Parties, his Beatitude the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos, Security Forces, Embassies, Educational Institutions, former Commanders of the Academy, active and retired Officers, as well as members of the families of the new Officers.
