The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr Nikolaos Chardalias will go tomorrow, Friday 6 January 2023, to Chania to attend the celebration of Epiphany at the Crete Naval Base, accompanied by the Chief of HNDGS General Konstantinos Floros.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence will initially attend the Divine Liturgy at the Agia Barbara Holy Church, at the Crete Naval Base, and following that, he will go to the port of Souda, for the Blessing of the Waters and the retrieval of the Holy Cross from the sea.
After the end of the celebrations, he will visit the submarine TRITON and the Frigate HYDRA, docked alongside the site of the blessing of waters ceremony, so as to exchange wishes with their crews.
Furthermore, he will go to the premises of the 115 Battle Wing, to exchange wishes with the Pilots and the Technicians of the 340 Squadron.
