The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr Nikolaos Chardalias, in the context of his briefing visits to Formations and Units of the Armed Forces, conducted today, Tuesday 29 March 2022, a visit to the premises of the 21st “PATRIOT” Guided Missile Squadron, in Keratea – Attica.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed by the Squadron’s Commander, Air Force Colonel (Pilot) Panagiotis Katsoulas, on the organisation, mission, work and its current operational and training activities.
Furthermore, he was given a tour of the Squadron’s facilities and of the personnel’s training simulator, which has the capability to simulate all the threats of interest, at the national as well as allied level.
At the same time, an exhibition was conducted, pertaining to the deployment of the state-of-the-art mobile anti-air long-range “PATRIOT” system and the Deputy Minister talked with members and Conscripts.
